Use the hexagon shape in the form as a guide of how it will look when engraved.
- Add your loved one's name.
- Select the birth / rescue date and the passing date.
- Select the felt colour for the inner bottom and lid.
- Select the design you want above the name.
HOW IT'S MADE
Aesthetic hexagon.
My hexagon boxes start as raw pine shells, sourced from a local manufacturer who values clean finishes as much as I do. When they arrive at my workshop (aka lounge), they're just smooth timber, blank canvases. So while I don't build the raw wooden box itself, every bit of the crafting and finishing is my handiwork. If it's leaving my workshop, it's had my full attention. Hand crafted, locally made, with love.

I've selected three beautiful colours that bring warmth and happiness when you open your keepsake. They are bright and alive. I hand-cut the felt lining for the base and the lid.
I'm incredibly fussy about this part; I cut the felt to fit the hexagon shape perfectly, ensuring there isn't a single glue mark or loose thread in sight.

ENGRAVING
On natural slate
I don't believe in "batching" orders. I build every engraving file from scratch. I'll sit at my desk and manually place your loved one's name, their dates, and the design you've picked; whether it's the angel wings with a paw, claw or a simple heart, to make sure the layout looks right. I then laser-engrave that design onto a piece of natural slate, which is set onto the pine lid. Have a look at the choices below.
